One day at a time. And with the serenity prayer. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change. The courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. It is painful. A child can hurt you more than any member of the opposite sex.
It definitely takes lots of patience. Everyone’s situation and story will be different. For our family it’s been very difficult and heartbreaking. I feel until they recognise there is a problem it can’t and will never be resolved.
